Marjory Viele Clark

Ballston Spa, NY- Marjory Viele Clark formerly of Saratoga Springs and a resident of Maplewood Manor passed away peacefully at Maplewood Manor September 30, 2011, at the age of 94.

Her life as a homemaker centered on her immediate and extended family and friends. She always had time to attend school and sporting events for her children and grandchildren. During that period, she was a member of the Greenfield Grange and several teacher parent organizations. Because of her interest in genealogy, she has provided her family with photographs and a history of her ancestors going back to the early 1680s. She was a longtime member of the Heritage Hunters.

Marjory was predeceased by her husband, Earl R. Clark, to whom she was married 58 years. She was also predeceased by her son, Earl R. (Alicemay) Clark; brothers, Donald and Robert Viele; sister, Beatrice (Allen) Priest; and grandson, David Connors.

Survivors include her daughters, Marjory (Norm) Case of Loudonville, NY, Roberta (Thomas) James of Saratoga Springs and Gail (David) Thomas of Waldorf, MD,; grandchildren, Laura Snell Hautala, Dennis Swart, Donna Swart Amato, Bonnie Swart Older, Carrie Clark, Cathy Clark Wohl, Earl R. Clark III, David Thomas Jr., Michael James, Robert Gischel Moreland and Christopher Thomas; sisters, Eleanor Furry of Clearwater, FL, and Lois Murray of Glens Falls; 19 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held November 20, 2011, at the Tunison Funeral Home 105 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
