Glens Falls, NY – Francis A. DeSio passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at his home. He was 59.
Born January 22, 1952, in Norwich, CT, he was the son of the late Anthony and Thelma (Stanley) DeSio. Francis lived in Norwich until 1987 and relocated to Saratoga Springs to be closer to his family. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St Anselm's College in Manchester, NH. Francis was an independent real estate appraiser in the Greater Capital Region for over 20 years.
Survivors include his children, Andrea (Paul) Fanos of Rotterdam and Mark DeSio of Saratoga Springs; brother, Michael (Lori) DeSio of Saratoga Springs; sister, Tina (Francis) Flanagan of Fort Edward; grandson, Gregory Fanos of Rotterdam; and his nieces and nephews Amy and Jeffrey DeSio, Sean and Kyle Flanagan.
Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY, (518) 584-5373.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any donations be given to his children.
