GANSEVOORT — Joseph L. Ethier passed away Saturday, February 8 at his home after a long illness.

Born in Rouses Point, he was the son of the late Etienne and Matilda Ethier. Joseph did construction and pipe laying.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Fred, Toby and Antoinne and his sister Rita.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ann; his children, Theresa Prichard, Leo (Carol) Ethier and Elizabeth (Al) Williams; his loving grandchildren, DJ, Kindra, Marisa, Chase, Al, John and Abby; and sisters, Lena LaBounte, Mary Stewart and Rose Hack.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, February 12 at the community room at The Wilton Commons, 104 Wilton Commons Dr., Gansevoort. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 167 Milton Ave., Ballston Spa, NY 12020 or Saratoga Hospital, 211 Church St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Dorsey, Dr. Fine and Dr. Herzog for all their care and comfort for Joseph and their guidance for his family.

Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Julia H.
