SARATOGA — In 2018, Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) launched a new end- of-year fundraising program titled Give4Kids Matching Campaign in its continued effort to support local youth centers in the communities it serves. The campaign raised an impressive $25,520 from both member donors and sponsors in its inaugural year.
This year’s proceeds were donated to the Saratoga Regional YMCA Corinth Branch’s After School Enrichment Program and the Glens Falls Area Youth Center. A donation will also be made to the Cohoes Community Center when it reopens. Each location received a total of $8,500 to help support their efforts in the community.
From October through December, HRCCU members donated a total of $5,840 through a combination of in-branch donations, raffles and an online GoFundMe page. An additional $7,100 was raised from 16 corporate sponsors. All donations were matched dollar-for-dollar by HRCCU.
