SARATOGA SPRINGS — Saratoga Hospital now offers security guard training to help aspiring, new and existing guards fulfill New York state requirements for security professionals.
The hospital’s training program is approved by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services and includes all three state-mandated security guard courses:
An eight-hour pre-assignment training course, which is the first step in obtain- ing a New York state security guard license; a 16-hour, on-the-job training course, which must be completed within 90 days of employment as a
security guard; and an eight-hour annual in-service training course, which ensures that security guards have the latest information on security-related issues and advances.
