MALTA – This week, the Saratoga County Prosperity Partnership reported that Steve Bulger, a Clifton Park resident and former GOP chairman for Saratoga County, has been named as a regional administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Bulger received a presidential appointment for the SBA Region II position. The region encompasses New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Bulger, 57, has extensive experience in economic development, sales and marketing, as well as government relations. He will be responsible for managing and overseeing the SBA’s lending, economic development and procurement programs for five district and six branch offices.
