Ann Marie Pembleton
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Ann Marie Pembleton 79, of Saratoga Springs passed away on September 11, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Ann Marie was born in Buffalo on October 6, 1936 to parents James and Bernice DeWald. She is predeceased by her husband Donald L Pembleton Sr., her parents and brother, Kenneth DeWald. She leaves behind her children Donald L. Pembleton Jr., (Wendy), Deborah Linburg (Chuck), Kelly Travis (Van “Chip”), Janean Hewes (Bill), Jim Pembleton (Diane), Krissy Fleming (Eddie), her brothers Richard (Donna) and Ronald (Judith) DeWald, as well as many of her dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Most known for her loving, caring and beautiful heart, Ann Marie was selfless and always concerned with others. She devoted her life to her family and friends, and had an amazing ability to make everyone feel special. She was an avid Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and Syracuse University fan.
Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday September 16, 2016 at Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Ave. in Saratoga Springs. The memorial service will be held from 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. A committal service will be held at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m.
Everyone is invited to attend a celebration of life reception following the committal service at 3:00 p.m. to remember Ann Marie’s life.
