SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s “Love Our Locals” campaign had a record-breaking year in 2023, with more than $206,000 spent in support of local businesses and nonprofits.

The program encouraged shoppers to submit their receipts of $20.23 or more spent at a Saratoga County business or nonprofit to be entered into a gift card giveaway. Over 2,500 receipts were submitted in total, and dozens of participants won gift cards.

The “Love Our Locals” $20.23 campaign was sponsored by MVP Health Care, Hoffman Car Wash, and more than 50 other area businesses that donated gift cards.

“The Chamber would like to thank each and every one of the Love Our Locals $20.23 participants who chose to support Saratoga County businesses and nonprofits through this campaign,” said Chamber president Todd Shimkus in a statement. “We are so grateful to our sponsors and gift card donors who helped make this program a success in 2023, and we look forward to bringing it back as Love Our Locals $20.24 later this year.”
