Non-Equity: Auditions for Saratoga Shakespeare Company

SARATOGA SPRINGS – This summer, Saratoga Shakespeare Company is casting a rollicking production of Merry Wives of Windsor, directed by David Girard. The company is celebrating its 13th summer season of free outdoor theater in Saratoga’s beautiful Congress Park. Rehearsals will begin on Monday July 1, 2013, and performances are scheduled for July 16–28.

The Company is seeking non-equity male actors in their mid-30s to 60s age range; multi-cultural casting for all roles.  Actors should prepare one classical comedic monologue (1-minute in length), and bring their pictures and resumes to the audition. Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, May 19th from 2–4 PM, in the Bernhard Theater, at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY. 

Saratoga Shakespeare Company is an SPT 6 Equity company, which also casts non-equity local actors, and the actors are eligible to receive Equity points.  The company is committed to presenting free, professional Shakespeare in Congress Park.
