SARATOGA SPRINGS —St. Paul’s Lutheran Church’s first annual community-wide food drive took place during October and had over 370 donors give 3,720 pounds of food to support those in need.
The project was a part of the St. Paul’s Red-Letter Challenge, which is a church-wide event to get church members to grow in faith and show love and compassion towards others.
In total, along with the donations from the Salvation Army of Saratoga Springs, the food will be able to provide around 3,100 meals.
Additionally, Logistics One Company, the City of Saratoga Springs, Empire State College and Minuteman Press of Clifton Park all helped to promote the Church’s mission to help the community.
