SARATOGA — Now in its 32nd year, the Saratoga Hospital Volunteer Guild provides scholarships to students based on academic achievement, community service and a desire to pursue a career in healthcare. This year, the Guild has awarded $1,500 in scholarships to five local high school seniors. “This year’s scholarship recipients are amazing students and individuals,” said Terry White, Saratoga Hospital Volunteer Guild president. “Despite the challenges and disruption of the pandemic, they continued to excel, give back and, perhaps most important, commit to careers of service.” This year’s recipients are listed below.
Aubrey French - Schuylerville High School - Daemen University in Amherst, New York.
Anna Lail - Schuylerville High School - Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
Brooke Henderson - Stillwater High School - Siena College in Loudonville, New York.
Quinn Ragan - Saratoga Springs High School - Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
Sophia Ostrander - Ballston Spa High School - University of Rhode Island in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.
