Saratoga Home and Lifestyle Show
Saratoga Springs City Center, 522 Broadway, Saratoga Springs | 5 – 8 p.m. 
The Saratoga Home & Lifestyle Show features a variety of home and lifestyle businesses in categories such as home improvement, landscaping, décor and fine finishes, heating and plumbing, pools, financial and professional services, and many more. There are also hourly door prizes, a grand prize, and other special activities taking place throughout the weekend. The event begins Friday and will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Fish Fry Fridays 
Fish Creek Rod and Gun Club, Route 32 South of the Village of Victory | 4:30 - 7 p.m.
Fish Fry will continue every Friday through April 19. All are welcome, members and non-members.  Menu: Fish Fry, Chicken Fry, Clam Fry, Popcorn Shrimp Fry, Buffalo Shrimp, Chowder, ask about our extras and beverages. Tang Family Saturdays 
Tang Teaching Museum, Skidmore Campus, Saratoga Springs | 2 – 3:30 p.m.

Suitable for children ages 5 and up with their adult companions. Programs include a brief tour of a current Tang exhibition followed by a hands-on art activity. Free and open to the public. Reservations are strongly suggested. For reservations and information, call 518-580-8080.

Mardi Gras Celebration Fundraiser

Family Festival

The Saratoga Ancient Order of Hiberians will hold a Family Festival. A grand day of Irish music, dance, and culture. Donation $10 at door. Please bring non-perishable food items to be donated to local food pantry. Light fare will be available. There will also be raffle items and baskets galore.

Preschool Nature Hour - Trees in Winter 
Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park, 80 Scout Road, Wilton | 10:30 a.m. 

This monthly program is for our youngest explorers (ages 3-6 years old) where we use children’s love of nature to teach simple concepts. Adults are expected to attend. This is an outdoor program so please come dressed for the weather. We will go on a short walk, do a simple nature craft, and have a healthy snack. Free admission. Registration is required.

Historical Tour & Ghost Stories of The Olde Bryan Inn
Saratoga Senior Center, 5 Williams Street, Saratoga Springs | 10:15 a.m. 

The Olde Bryan has a rich and storied history. Come and join Chef John Kosek as he shares OBI’s history and maybe see a ghost or two. We leave the Senior Center at 10:15 a.m. Lunch following the tour. Pay $2 at sign up. Please bring additional money for lunch.

All You Can Eat Pancake Supper 
Schuylerville United Methodist Church, 51 Church Street, Schuylerville | 4:30 – 7 p.m. 
The Schuylerville United Methodist Church Youth Group will be hosting an all you can eat pancake supper. Cost is a free will donation.

Shrove Tuesday Dinner 
Grace Church, 34 Third Street, Waterford | 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Science on Tap
The Parting Glass, 40 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs | 6:30 p.m. 
Dr. Anthony Hatch, Associate Professor of Science in Society at Wesleyan University, will be our speaker. Dr. Hatch will talk about his new book Silent Cells: The Secret Drugging of Captive America. His book examines what we know and do not know about the use of psychotropic drugs in confinement settings. Dr. Hatch will discuss why this issue matters for the science of mental health and politics of mass incarceration. Admission is free and all are welcome. Horse Explorers Children’s Program 
National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, 191 Union Ave., Saratoga Springs | 10:45 – 11:45 a.m.
Recommended for ages 3-6, “Horse Explorers” is a hands-on series intended to creatively educate children about horses by developing age-appropriate skills in disciplines including art, literacy, science and math. The program will be staffed by the Museum’s professional educators. Children are free with a paid adult admission.
