Homecoming of the Adirondack Regiment Re-Enactment
Lake Luzerne Pavillion, Col. Butler Park, Route 9N, Lake Luzerne | 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Re-enactors will demonstrate various period impressions of the Civil War including military and civilian demonstrations and 19th century tin-type photography demos.There will be candlelight camp tours at dusk on Saturday*, canon night fire, community campfire, music, camp church service and a Luzerne Cemetery “Roll Call.” The event is sponsored by the Hadley-Lake Luzerne Historical Society and the 118th Adirondack Infantry Regiment. *A small fee will be charged for evening event. Sunday, September 8 hours are 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Malta Community Day
Shenantaha Creek Park, Eastline Rd., Malta | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
For 31 years, the Town of Malta has offered this wonderful opportunity to connect with one another and with local groups such as businesses, non-profits, and service organizations. Come out and show your hometown pride and enjoy the festivities and fun! The day includes musical entertainment, kids’ activities, business and non-profit booths, fire trucks and demonstrations, food, and much more! Free shuttle buses will be running from the Malta Community Center and Chango Elementary School from 9:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. There is limited parking, so we suggest using the shuttle bus. We will be bringing together board gamers, role players, dice game enthusiasts, card players, miniature lovers game demos, vendors, open gaming, large lending library, door prizes and raffles. Raffles will be held for Extra Life to benefit the Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. Auditions for “Mystery Takes Hold”

Malta Spotlighter’s Theatre Troupe announces auditions for a production of an original show written by Artistic Director, Elyse Young! The show takes place in an old Victorian house that has been converted to a theater where mystery dinner theaters will take place!
