Free and open to the public. Have you wondered about what you can do to help your balance? Matthew Goodemote of Goodemote Physical Therapy will teach you what type of shoes are the best and what exercises help your balance. This will be an interactive workshop. Bring your questions.

Game Night and Pot Luck

Flag Day Celebration Concert

Saratoga-Wilton Elks Lodge #161 and the Avant Garde Alumni Drum Corps invite you to a special concert celebrating the music of Grammy Award Winning Artist, Chuck Mangione (who will be in attendance).  Tickets are $15. Local High School Jazz Ensembles and the Avant Garde Alumni Drum Corps will be performing. Heritage Garden Club Herb, Perennial, Plant and Garden Décor Sale
Italian American Center, 247 Grand Ave., Saratoga Springs, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

A variety of perennial plants and herbs as well as garden decor and many different shapes and colors of distinctive daylilies developed by the late Stanley Saxton, a hybridizer and long-time Saratoga resident will be available for sale. Contact  

Car Show & Food Truck Event

Morris Ford presents Spina Bifida of Northeastern New York’s Car Show and Food Truck Event The show is open to all cars, trucks, motorcycles of any year, make or model. 52nd Annual Flag Day Parade
Begins on North Broadway, Saratoga Springs | Noon
Saratoga-Wilton Elks Lodge #161 will hold a parade honoring members, active or retired, from all branches of military service. Parade ends at Congress Park. In addition, they will be giving special recognition in honor of the American Legion’s 100th Anniversary. The Charity Jazz Concert and Elks Flag Day Parade will be a great source of family entertainment.

Repair Cafe
Saratoga Springs Public Library, H. Dutcher Community Room | Noon – 3 p.m.
A free community event to repair broken objects, keeping things out of landfills, and fostering an appreciation for the art of repair. Tools and basic materials will be on hand. Kids’ craft table to occupy the little ones. Limit of two items. Come to Mount McGregor to be Cured 
1000 Mt. McGregor Road, Wilton | 1 p.m.

Dave Hubbard, Grant Cottage Visitor Center and Group Sales Manager, will discuss the history of the mountain’s sanitorium through the eyes of a tuberculosis patient being treated at the Mount McGregor facility.  The suggested donation for Grant Cottage Porch Programs is $5/person. H.O.P.E. Walk for the Animals 
High Rock Park, High Rock Ave., Saratoga Springs | 1 – 4 p.m.

Walk from High Rock Park to Broadway, then to Congress Park and back to High Rock Park for lots of fun for you and your dog. Participants must register at hopeanimalrescue.org or at High Rock Park starting at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $25 to register. Please ask your friends to sponsor you and donate to help the animals. All registered walkers will get a photo, refreshments, and goodies for them and their dogs. There will be games and contests for kids and adults, vendors, a Police K9 demo, an agility course with a trainer available, a massage therapist, dog yoga, reiki, and reflexology demos. 

“One Spirit, One Voice” - Burnt Hills Oratorio Society
The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Rd., Glenville | 4 p.m. 
Experience the diversity of the human voice as The Burnt Hills Oratorio Society chorus performs an array of vocal genres, including Broadway, A Cappella, gospel, and contemporary. Forgotten Railroads

The Saratoga County History Roundtable will present a program on “Forgotten Railroads.” Independent historian Bill Bennison will discuss the failed post-civil war attempt to construct a railroad through Saratoga County to compete with the New York Central in connecting the East to Chicago. While a con-man duped investors and a local industrialist, the overall project was partially successful and still in operation today.
