Dear Mona,

I am the luckiest dog. My brother, Uncas, was the best dog that ever lived.  I couldn't have asked for a better friend. He had hair like Elvis and a bark like Lassie. I’m sad to say that he went to heaven last month. Our whole family misses him terribly and we’ve been moping around. What can I do to help my family smile a little more? #uncaswasthebestdog

 Sigh,

Sunny

Dear Sunny,

Please accept my deepest condolences to you and your family. They say that death is as much a part of life as life is, but it’s not easy. You are so lucky to have had Uncas for your brother, as I bet he was just as lucky to have had you. Cherish those memories, remember him always, and honor his lingering presence. Cuddle with your family a little more, follow them around more often, and let them know you are there for them. Uncas would want you to move forward, laugh about him, and smile when you think of him. #thoughtaboutapuppyortwo

High Five,

Mona

Hi. I’m Mona. I’m a dog. I’m also a local entertainer and reporter. To clear up any confusion on my breed, I am a two year old Pucker (half pug, half cocker spaniel). Some people call me a comedian, others call me a genius but the truth is that I’m just a really good communicator. I love singing, leg pits, bacon, networking, smooching, and giving advice to my friends. Let’s have a giggle, high five!
