Saratoga Springs Teen Arrested for Facebook Threat

Alan R. Picket of Wilton allegedly posted to Facebook that guns should be brought to Saratoga Springs High School and that underclassmen and teachers should be shot, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

Pickett was 17 at the time of the allegations but turned 18 on Monday, June 10.

It was also unclear on Saturday if Picket had weapons or if he had any intentions of bringing arms to the school. He was arraigned and sent to county jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.
