Dear Mona,

I should be a happy little pup but I believe I am letting my insecurities get the best of me. I am an 8 month old Yorkshire Terrier and lately, I’ve been acting out. I admit this because I think my mom is planning an intervention so I guess this is getting serious. What can I do to prove to my family that I am really a cute little lovebug and not a tough cookie?

Low five,
Hazel

Dear Hazel,

Most dogs are really confused about their size. Big dogs think they are lap dogs and little dogs act as though they are the biggest dog that ever lived. If you are trying to get your point across that you prefer to be top queen in the house, maybe it’s time to become a little more refined in your approach and not lash out at the ones who love you.

High Five,
Mona

Hi. I’m Mona. I’m a dog. I’m also a local entertainer and reporter. To clear up any confusion on my breed, I am a two year old Pucker (half pug, half cocker spaniel). Some people call me a comedian, others call me a genius but the truth is that I’m just a really good communicator. I love singing, leg pits, bacon, networking, smooching, and giving advice to my friends. Let’s have a giggle, high five!
